An open casting call inspires the actor within.
When Yoostar needed an innovative way to introduce their new home digital green screen product that allows young adults to digitally insert themselves into their favorite movie or TV show, they turned to AMP.
Leave it to AMP to create a fun, original experience to entice the young adult market into the limelight. Targeting college campuses and other lifestyle destinations, AMP created the YOOSTAR Casting Agency, a faux Hollywood talent agency, that gave consumers the chance to win a walk-on role in an upcoming film and a shot at agent representation.
Consumers entered an indoor/outdoor modular structure, complete with a glamorous agency façade and 3D awning advertising the "Open Casting Call". Once inside, they passed through a sleek reception area before reaching Yoostar demo kiosks, where they engaged with the product and submitted their clips to the contest.
To date over 5,000 budding actors and actresses have heeded the call to "Action!" and uploaded their videos for a chance to win.
