There are just a handful of running blogs that trail runners actively read, participate on and turn to for product reviews and recommendations. AMP decided to enlist this trusted group of bloggers to test and review – and in select cases – give away Vibram-soled shoes.
After identifying and engaging a core target of bloggers and online writers, AMP provided them with Vibram shoes and product information as well as access to company representatives and materials.
With 24 product reviews, about 100,000 impressions and a 3:1 ROI, the top-line results speak for themselves. Digging deeper via post-campaign blogger surveys, AMP found that 100% surveyed claimed they are more likely to recommend and buy Vibram-soled shoes in the future.
