Qwest Solution Centers wanted to bolster their minimal market share in the saturated wireless world. So they signed AMP up to drive traffic with a unique, engaging promotional experience during the back-to-school shopping period.
With all of the wireless offers out there, AMP's goal was to establish Qwest as a holistic solution provider by featuring their bundled cable, internet and phone service packages.
AMP devised a challenge that asked consumers: "Do You Have the Winning Combination?". Consumers received collateral materials with unique codes that could be used to "open" a physical locker at Qwest retailers and mall kiosks. Consumers with winning codes would win the contents of the locker, while all participants received custom telecommunications consultations from Qwest staff.
With double-digit sales increases across all retail locations and a 52% redemption rate on all collateral materials, AMP's promotion exceeded all projections, proving to be the winning combination for Qwest.
